- Oksana Rewa: Greetings and call of meeting to order
- Adopted Agenda
- Foundation Status: Have received our letters patent for incorporation,
Charitable registration is still in the works, Oksana Rewa to work with
lawyers with regard to charitable status
- Donations: Foundation received a grant of $1,000.00 from Prometheus
Foundation to continue work as stated in mission statement
- Donation for an endowment fund was made by Mr. Fedorowycz for $2,310.00
with the request that the Canadian Bandura Foundation administers the funds
such that yearly awards will be given out to a bandura student in memory
of Irene Fedorowycz. Motion: Olya Koshil , Seconded: Olenka Skliarenko."The
Canadian Bandura Foundation will accept the responsibility to administer
the endowment fund as requested by Mr. Fedorowycz." - Accepted
unanimously
- Special Event: Foundation Launch proposal made by Oksana Rewa discussion
followed. - Motion: Olenka Skliarenko, Seconded: Lesia Huzar. The launch
of the Canadian Bandura Foundation will occur on Sunday March 28th, 1999,
at the Ontario Science Centre as proposed and outlined by Oksana Rewa"

- Financing: Request to Lesia Huzar to obtain the remainder $1,200.00
(see meeting motion 01/05/98) from BYC so that operating expenses can be
covered. Motion: S. Mazur, Seconded: G. Mykytyn - "Once a motion
and/or decision is reached by the Board of Directors of the Canadian Bandura
Foundation, all the foundation board members will show unity in supporting
