Forum of Ukrainian Diaspora Youth

“Ternopil 2013”  (FUMD)

We are glad to inform you that the Forum of Ukrainian Diaspora Youth “Ternopil 2013” (FUMD), organised by the World Congress of Ukrainian Youth Organisations (SKUMO), is planned for Ternopil on August, 18-27, 2013. Representatives of Ukrainian youth from all countries of the Diaspora will attend the Forum. 

This year FUMD will include three parts: 

– Diaspora Youth Camp: August, 18-25/26

– Congress of World Congress of Ukrainian Youth Organisations: August, 26-27

– Diaspora Fest: August, 25-27

The quota for the Camp is up to 300 participants (age: 18 to 35), and the Congress of World Congress of Ukrainian Youth Organisations will include up to 100 delegates. Number of guests is unlimited. This training & leisure Camp will be held at one of health centers in Ternopil region.

On August, 25-27, the Conference of World Congress of Ukrainian Youth Organisations in Ternopil, will gather young leaders, active diaspora youth and Ukrainian youth, youth politics officers, managers and organizers of youth projects and initiatives, as well as representatives of the worldwide Ukrainian community, invited guests, and activists from all parts of Ukraine. The program of the conference will include plenary sessions, topic discussions, round tables, and commission meetings.

Furthermore, DIASPORA FEST 2013 is planned to be held in Ternopil, on August, 25-27. Modern youth bands and representatives of foreign Ukrainian artists will participate. Holding this Fest requires finances most, so we are currently in search of sponsors for payment for transfer and remuneration of diaspora bands. Therefore we welcome everybody who can help.

Four organising working groups are already created: administrative, program, media, and creative; we welcome motivated people to join our working group for preparing FUMD.
