BLOOR WEST VILLAGE UKRAINIAN FESTIVAL 2006 HIGHLIGHTS

• To mark its 10th anniversary, the festival has expanded. This year it will span an extra two blocks eastwards.

• A Literary Corner will feature contributing authors of Kobzar’s Children: A Century of Untold Ukrainian Stories, edited by Marsha Forchuk Srypuch. Autographed copies of the new anthology will be available.

• A Street Zabava on Friday, August 25 at 10:30 p.m. will feature Richka from Montreal.

• A Cabaret Show on Saturday, August, 26 will feature dance groups Dunai (Edmonton); Desna (Toronto); Vatra (Brampton) and Chornomor Kozaky (Odesa).

•Teach-me-to-dance sessions given by Arkan dancers will take place on the Windermere Youth Stage at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 26 and Sunday, August 27.
