In Memory of Blair Rutherford

The UNF Ottawa-Gatineau Branch extends deepest sympathies to their member Emil Baran and his family on the tragic death of Blair Rutherford.

Blair died instantly in the Resolute Bay, Nunavut plane crash that killed 12 people and injured three others on August 20^th, 2011.

He leaves behind his wife and best friend, Tatiana, daughter Hannah, son Noah, two brothers: Barclay (Nancy Jo) and Bryan, two sisters; Cheryl and Bev (Mike), three nephews, one niece, “Mom” Rosemarie, father-in-law Emil Baran and brother-in-law Michael Baran.

Blair was predeceased by his parents Bill and Tillie Rutherford.

A memorial service was held on Monday, August 29, 2011 at the North Caribou Air Hanger, 3679-56^th Avenue East, Edmonton International Airport.
