UNF Sudbury’s Veselka in “Musical Christmas” Parade

Members of the Ukrainian National Federation Sudbury Branch’s Veselka Dance Ensemble participated in the 2010 Greater Sudbury Santa Claus Parade. Held on November 13, this year’s parade theme was “Musical Christmas”.

UNF Sudbury entered a parade float advertising the groups and ensembles that comprise its Veselka School of Dance, originally established in 1933.

Sudbury runs the largest Santa Claus or Christmas Parade in Northern Ontario. Next year’s parade theme will be “Sounds of Christmas”.  By the “sounds” of this year’s success, expect to see and hear UNF Sudbury’s Veselka in next year’s Santa Claus parade!
