Release EuroMaidan Activists

Ukrainian World Congress (UWC): immediately release EuroMaidan activists.

The Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) deems a positive development the abolishment of certain anti-protest laws illegitimately adopted on 16 January 2014, which was done in response to persistent demands by the Ukrainian people and numerous calls by the international community, including the UWC.

“The Ukrainian World Congress calls upon the governing authorities of Ukraine to immediately release activists of the EuroMaidan movement which would be a logical extension of the abolishment of repressive anti-protest laws,” stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
