The Crimean peninsula, located in southern Ukraine, is washed by the Black Sea and the Azov Sea. Here the first human settlements dating back to the early Paleolithic are found. The largest cities include Simferopol, Sevastopol, Kerch, Yevpatoriya, Yalta and Feodosiya. This part of the Black Sea coast is especially attractive for tourists.
