Dear Editor:
In regard to the April 9 article on the internment of Ukrainian Canadians, thank you for providing information on this traumatic event in Ukrainian Canadian history. The facts cited in the article demonstrate how unjustified the mistreatment of Ukrainian Canadians was, and demonstrate why these wrongs should be acknowledged and atoned for.
The writer suggests that Japanese Canadians bleed more than Ukrainian Canadians when cut. We would have thought that Shakespeare answered this some centuries ago in the "Merchant of Venice."
