Yuri Grekov - President/Artistic Director
With 20 years of experince in Ukrainian dance performance, choreography and instruction in both Canada and Ukraine, Grekov and KNUKiM created the International Summer School of Ukrainian Dance to expose students to Ukrainian dance, culture and history at the center of excellence in Kyiv - The National University of Arts and Culture. Grekov's role with the ISSUD includes artistic direction of the teaching program, organization of all events and excursions and overseeing logistics for each two week session.
Prof. S. Zubatov
With 23 years of experince in Kyiv National University of Arts and Culture (KNUKiM), prof. S. Zubatov is a leader in Ukrainian dance teaching and in choreography. Prof. S. Zubatov oversees the ISSUD teaching staff, conducts lectures on dance history and Ukrainian culture and leads dance instruction to Summer School students.
